Below you can find several resources and links to learn more about different kinds of corn stoves and where buy them. There are many options for style, size, price, features. You can find more corn stoves, too!
There
are corn stoves and wood pellet stoves and multifuel stoves. Generally those stoves are best for the fuel they were designed for, and may or may not easily adapt or convert to burning other fuels. (i.e. some may require a minimum percentage of wood pellets mixed in.)
For help selecting a stove you can contact a dealer for a site visit (usually for a fee), use a roughly organized comparison GoogleDoc spread sheet here, or use a nifty 2-page walk through checklist here: Corn Stove checklist (Feb 07).rtf

The coop is trying bulk purchases of stoves. Contact us if you're interested in this option. Hopefully it will save a couple hundred to several hundred dollars, along with the Federal Tax Credit (30% up to $1500 until the end of 2010) and other local incentives.
A good discussion page to learn more about corn stoves is www.IBurnCorn.com. (best to use that resource after learning more about stoves types, sizes -- then use the forum to read (or ask questions) about specific brands and models.
